Shipping policy

This Shipping & fulfilment policy describes how Sri Bhaktanjaneya Lakshmi Ganapathi Sweets prepares, hands over, or sends your orders when you use our website, WhatsApp, or phone. Dates and time ranges are good-faith estimates; actual timing depends on product availability, festivals, weather, and third-party carriers. If anything is unclear, ask us before you pay so expectations match.

Order processing time

After we confirm your order and payment (usually via UPI) and confirm product availability, we aim to prepare most standard orders within 1–2 business days. Orders received on Sundays, public holidays, or outside our published hours may be processed on the next business day.

Bulk, custom, or festival-heavy orders may need additional lead time; we will tell you the expected ready date on WhatsApp or phone before you are asked to pay or before we finalise dispatch.

Shipping methods and delivery times

We offer the following ways to receive your order (not all options may be available for every product or PIN code):

Estimated times below are not guarantees. Weather, carrier backlog, strikes, road closures, or high festival demand can cause delays beyond our control.

  • Shop pickup (G. Mamidada): after we confirm your slot, pickup is often same day or within 1–2 business days, subject to batch readiness.
  • Local delivery (where we explicitly offer it): typically same day or next business day within our agreed local zone, as confirmed on WhatsApp or phone.
  • Courier within India (where we explicitly offer it): typically about 3–7 business days after handover to the carrier, depending on destination and service level chosen.

Shipping charges and promotions

Delivery or courier charges (if any) depend on distance, weight, packaging, and the carrier’s rates. We aim to confirm charges on WhatsApp or phone, or show them at checkout, before you complete payment. If anything is unclear, confirm totals with us before paying.

If we run a promotion (for example free delivery above a minimum order value), the rules and dates of that promotion will be stated clearly on our website, WhatsApp, or checkout. Unless a promotion is expressly confirmed to you in writing (including chat), standard rates apply.

Delivery coverage

We primarily serve customers in India. Courier or local delivery is only available where we explicitly agree to it for your PIN code and product mix.

International shipping is not offered through this website unless we separately confirm export, documentation, and pricing with you in writing (including WhatsApp). Any customs duties, taxes, or import charges abroad are solely the buyer’s responsibility where international shipment is specially agreed.

Order tracking

A website checkout or message thread alone does not mean your order is final until we confirm availability, total payable amount, and fulfilment method on WhatsApp or phone.

When we dispatch via courier, we will share whatever tracking reference the carrier provides (for example AWB number) by WhatsApp or email when available. Carrier tracking portals can take up to 24 hours to show movement after pickup—this is normal.

Delays sometimes happen because of carriers, weather, festival rush, strikes, or network issues outside our day-to-day control. When you contact us with your order reference, we will try in good faith to help you follow up with the carrier.

Address requirements and restrictions

You must provide a complete, deliverable address including house/flat details, landmark where helpful, city/town, state, and correct 6-digit PIN code. We may refuse or cancel courier bookings if the address is incomplete or outside our serviceable zone.

We do not commit to delivery to P.O. box–only addresses where physical handover of perishable goods is not practical. If a carrier cannot service your PIN code, we aim to tell you before we charge you for delivery.

Delivery issues

If your order is delayed beyond the range we quoted, arrives damaged, or appears lost in transit, contact us as soon as possible with your order reference and any photos. We will try in good faith to coordinate with the carrier. Remedies (refund, replacement, or credit) are described in our Cancellation & refund policy and depend on verification of the facts.

Incorrect or incomplete shipping information

It is your responsibility to provide accurate contact and delivery details. If a parcel is returned to us or cannot be delivered because of wrong PIN, missing flat number, unreachable phone, or recipient refusal, any extra re-dispatch or return-to-origin charges assessed by the carrier may be passed on to you before we resend the order.

If you need to change the delivery address after we have already booked dispatch, we may not be able to change it; where changes are possible, any additional carrier fees will apply.

Perishable goods and risk after handover

Sweets and snacks are perishable. Risk of spoilage from delayed pickup, leaving parcels unattended in heat, or incorrect storage passes to you once we have handed the goods to you, your nominee, or the carrier as agreed.
